Hi, I am Bikramjit Singh, 26 years old with 2.5 years of work experience in Retail Banking as a customer service officer. I came to Christchurch to study Diploma in business level 7 at NZIBT hosted on Lincoln University. I am getting world class education under the supervision of very supportive staff members. They plays a vital role in polishing my intellectual skills and empowering me with quality education.
My first impression of New Zealand was out of this world. The first time I arrived here, I was surprised to see the beauty of nature and the clear atmosphere. Everything is beautiful here that’s why they call it 100% pure New Zealand.
I really enjoy living and studying here. Lincoln University Campus has a good multicultural environment and the place is well connected to the city centre via bus services. I stay in city but easily travel to Lincoln 4 to 5 times a week as the transportation service is very efficient, on-time and easy to use. I like the teaching methods used by our lecturers as they are varied and flexible. Along with the quality time spent in class during lectures, the students are encouraged to make the most of the excellent library services provided by Lincoln University which is very useful for self-study and to do my own research. This is a whole new experience for me and it’s great.
My goal right now is to get good grades so next year I can get a good job that would be preferably in Retail business.
After getting international experience I can easily get job with good salary package in any country I want to migrate. I think I will go back to my country because my desire is to be a successful businessman. I’d like to learn different aspects of marketing here in New Zealand and then apply them back home, so I can take part in the overall growth of my motherland.

When I entered NZIBT’s level 7 diploma course in Business studies, I was in a hurry.  Three years of bachelor in business course had made me non eligible for foreign enrollment but NZIBT gave me another chance for fulfilling my dreams to achieve international qualification in business studies.   Before my first class I was very nervous, but our heavily experienced teachers and student support team created a friendly environment that made me feel like home. The college itself is situated inside Lincoln University which is another feature for us to evolve with other international students and their culture as well.
When I look multi-cultural people around me working and living in New Zealand I see it’s not difficult at all to settle around if you choose the right subject and get qualified job.  Your willingness and right attitude towards your skills will make it possible to find out job of your desire and to sharpen your skill. At NZIBT we take part in different curricular activities on weekly basis which helps us gaining social confidence and make new friends. The city is not very cheap, but it is easy to find a part-time job which will help in the weekly expenditures. And yes the Christchurch city is not so far away from the university which makes day to day trip to Lincoln University with friends the most memorable one.
The course of content is what matters most, as marketing is my subject of interest, our respectable teachers made it adventurous by adding bits of extra interesting subject matters. I found all my classmates heavily responsible towards respecting each other’s culture being vastly diverse in each other’s regional differences. And the college always gave us the feeling of their responsibility that they have for us. And the traditional Maori welcome is the one which you appreciate that you became part of. Now I feel so proud of being a NZIBT student I feel you should start your future career from here as well. Christchurch has all that students would want, from beautiful mountains to gorgeous sea shore and all the adventurous dreams that you have seen. The unforgettable moment is when our campus manager John took us to the porters pass for skiing experience which was entirely new for me.
As hiking has always been my favorite part while I was back in Nepal, Christchurch never disappointed me in case of choosing the right place. It has all the beautiful landscape to attract you and explore more. So make the right choice be the NZIBT graduates and see your career taking height with its international qualification.

After completed my English courses in Auckland, I decided to pursue  a higher level education that would help me understand more about my own business and open up more possibilities in the future. I chose to enrol to NZIBT's Level 7 Business Diploma, not only because this diploma is internationally recognised, but also because the courses and teaching staffs are world class.
The courses are hosted on the Lincoln University campus, which is only a twenty-minute drive from the city at most.  The first day I arrived for orientation, I immediately knew that this was the perfect place to bunker down and study, staying away from distractions. There is an atmosphere of higher learning and tranquillity, and the students here are all super friendly. The courses are interesting and enjoyable, which only take half days from Wednesday to Saturday. Therefore, it leaves me plenty of time for my hobbies, recreation, and work.  When I'm in the class, I feel like I'm part of a team, working collaboratively with my co-scholars to achieve our course goals.
NZIBT also organise class activities and outings, such as visiting a nearby ski field or watching movies at the local cinema. Christchurch is a lovely place to live. The people here are friendly, the rent is cheap, the traffic isn't bad, all shops are close-by and it's pretty easy to find a part-time job if you want to make a little extra pocket money. I am beyond satisfied with everything so far, and I would definitely recommend NZIBT to anyone looking for a Business diploma.
